Who We Are
In 2010, a handful of Founding Firms came together to form Lion Street. These Firms shared the vision of industry veteran, Bob Carter, that elite, sophisticated financial professionals want to be part of a network of like-minded peers. Lion Street was created to give these elite professionals a peer group to share ideas and best
practices — and to leverage a collective buying power with insurance companies on a national scale.
In addition, a major part of the model was to provide these professionals ownership in the company they were helping to build. Ownership helps align interests, develop a sense of camaraderie and idea-sharing, and creates an inherent collaborative culture which in turn serves to build the strength of the company.
While we are a collaborative culture, independent ideas and advice is in our DNA. We have built a true open architecture platform which allows our network freedom in carrier choice, as well as access to all major products and resources needed to design advanced solutions and the ability to deliver completely objective information and guidance.
